Later, during a live play of the Ramayana at his house, upon seeing Rama take Sita back from Ravana, Bhadranna stops the actors from continuing the play and demands the script be changed immediately by having Ravana tie the mangalasutra around Sita's neck. Towards the beginning of the movie, as Ranga Rao enter's Bhadranna's residence for the first time, he proclaims - "లంక లాగ ఉన్నదే" - "this looks just like Lanka". Indeed, the story parallels the Ramayana in many ways, Venkat being an analogous Rama, Sailaja his Sita and Bhadranna being Ravana analog.
Throughout the movie, there is a strong allusion to the Hindu epic Ramayana. Lyrics were written by Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. They reconcile happily and defeat Bhadranna. Gradually Shailaja comes to know that she misunderstood Venkat and apologizes. Venkat agrees and fights with Bhadranna for Shailaja. Movie producer gets tensed as shooting was paused and Ranga Rao advises him to approach Venkat as he believes Venkat still loves Shailaja. Infuriated Bhadranna kidnaps Shailaja from a shooting spot and tries to change her mind about marrying him. Venkat also leaves for Vizag to his uncle's place. He first successfully creates clashes between lovers and convinces Shailaja to act in a movie and leaves with her to the city. Ranga Rao thinks that acting in films would be more lucrative than marrying her off to Bhadranna. Later, a film producer approaches him with an offer for Shailaja to act in a movie. Bhadranna approaches him with the marriage proposal and Ranga Rao jumps on that and immediately agrees. Ranga Rao (Prakash Raj), Sailaja's dad, is a typical black sheep with all kinds of bad habits. Venkat keeps bumping into Sailaja coincidentally every time it rains and they fall in love. At the same time Shailaja catches the eye of Bhadranna (Gopichand), a gangster who also becomes infatuated with her.
But the next shot, which is a distant one its evening and when the rain falls, finally its night.Venkat ( Prabhas) meets Shailaja (Trisha) in a train journey and they immediately get attracted to each other after dancing in a rain shower. When the cut out falls on him, it's again evening and when the camera moves to show the close up of Venkat and Sailaja, it's night. Continuity In the climax, when the large cut-out is falling on Bradranna, it's evening, when the camera focuses to Bhadranna,it's night. Continuity In the railway station,both Venkat and Sailaja are fully drenched in rain,the next moment when the train starts moving, Sailaja's hair is completely dry and Venkat's hair is fully wet. Continuity The lip stick mark on venkat's shirt changes position several times from the railway station until he reaches warangal.
And in the scene where he goes to the photo shoot, on the same bike, the sound given is of a typical 2 stroke bike, where in fact the bike is a four stroke one. Audio/Video Mismatch When Venkat comes out of the bar at the beginning of the movie,he starts his bike and raises its engine furiously in anger, his bike is a Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350cc which has a hard beat in its engine sound, but the audio synchronized is of a typical modern racing bike.The same sound is given when he is on the highway,heading for Warangal.
